inspirational videos
These film clips are not only great for listening practice, new vocabulary and fluency, but I also find them to be beautiful, inspirational, and fun to watch.
It is beneficial to provide a warm up to engage learner's in the topic of the video before playing; this may done with key vocabulary words, group brainstorming on the topic, presenting a KWL Chart, giving an anticipatory guide, or facilitating pair shares about the topic. It is also important to provide students with during listening questions.
